Your Personal Online Buyer’s Gemologist Consultant Agreement

This Agreement is entered into by and between myself as the purchaser of this service (the Buyer) and Dr. Edward Blomgren, my consulting graduate gemologist and certified appraiser, on the day this transaction was purchased, for any and all of the following personal services, as desired, advised, and negotiated between us for my exclusive needs:

 1)    A total of four (4) personalized gemologist consultations for my online bidding and buying needs. I, the Buyer, have access to Edward via the media below, under the following conditions and guidelines. These terms and guidelines are primarily intended to best accommodate your needs within the bidding deadlines and time zones we all inhabit:

a)    Your Consultation. A consult is defined as one (1) received link or URL to a particular item up for sale or bid on an online site.

b)    Procedure: Email Edward the complete URL or link to the item of interest.

          1)    Also please indicate the day and time an auction is ending. Edward is not responsible for incomplete or incorrect links/URLs sent to him. Please make sure to be accurate.

           2)    And please tell Edward of any important “need” details that he should know about.

c)     An emailed link/URL is “FINAL” + limited cancellations. Please don’t email links/URLS indiscriminately; make sure that you’ve settled on the item enough to seek a consult to inform whether you should move ahead with the bid or sale, or not. Therefore, once Edward receives said link/consult it can only be cancelled if Edward receives an email of cancellation within 15 minutes after the link/URL was sent. Otherwise, Edward commences with the consult & attendant research almost immediately after receipt of the link/URL.

d)    Times of Edward’s availability to me. 7 days per week, by email. Edward checks his email at 9a; noon; and 6p Eastern time. Emails received after 6p will be read the following day at 9a.

e)    Turnaround time. Once an email is received and read (at 9a, noon, and 6p) you can expect Edward’s email (or telephone, if necessary) reply within four (4) hours.

f)     Give Edward enough advance notice before a bid/sale ends. Keeping in mind when Edward checks emails (see d. above), please give him as much advance notice as you can before a bid/sale ends, once you know you want to bid/buy a gem or jewelry item online. To be safe, email the consult link/URL no less than 8 hours before the bidding/sale ends.   

g)    E-mail. At sign-up I understand I’ll be given Edward’s personal Gmail address.

h)    No texting. I understand that the telephone number Edward may use for any telephone replies, if needed, does not support texting, is unmonitored, and used for out-going calls only.

i)      Unused Consults. Unused consults are rolled over to the next month, but they may not be refunded; however they are transferrable to someone of your choice.

j)       This Agreement is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the website and products as well as Disclaimer. These can be found at the bottom of website pages.
